When I bought my Matrix back in 2010, my dad randomly told the sales guy to include a $700 package for lifetime rust proofing. The company that provided it was called Sym-Tech. Although they do provide an annual inspection and touch up for any parts that have lost their coating, I don't think it's worth the $$.
